Pentax arrives this year with its new model, the Pentax Optio T10 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented in North America on the 15/2/06. The Pentax Optio T10 will be sold for 314in North America, a very fair price. The Optio T10 gets a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Pentax Optio T10 has been set at 4:3, making a camera of 6.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Optio T10 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter.

Pentax included a digital zoom on the Optio T10 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 40 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Optio T10 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Pentax Optio T10 camera has an internal storage of 12 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card + Internal.

The LCD screen of the Optio T10 is measuring 3.0 ". A video out plug exists making it handy to watch pictures on your television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
