Pentax is back with its new camera, the Pentax Optio MX4 which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was shown on the North American market on the 13/9/04. The Optio MX4 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2304 x 1728. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Pentax Optio MX4 is set at 4:3, making a total of 4.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Optio MX4 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.7 " having a RGB color filter. Pentax included a digital zoom on the Optio MX4 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .
