The ratio of the image on the Pentax Optio M10 is 4:3, making a camera of 6.0 mega pixels.
The lens's sensor of the Optio M10 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter. Pentax implemented a digital zoom on the Optio M10 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 70 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Optio M10 was set at 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1500 seconds. Movies are supported in this version which is always a useful function.
