The internal sensor on the Optio Z10 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Pentax added a digital zoom on its Optio Z10 with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 40 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Optio Z10 was set at 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1440 seconds.
Movie clips are also supported in this version which is always a useful function. The LCD screen of the Optio Z10 measures 2.5 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
