The ratio of the image on the Pentax Optio M20 has been set at 4:3, making a total of 7.1 mega pixels. The sensor on the Optio M20 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " having a RGB color filter.
Pentax included a digital zoom on the Optio M20 and also added an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 40 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Optio M20 is 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Pentax Optio M20 camera has an internal storage of 22 mb extendable with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Optio M20 measures 2.5 ".
